There has been a lot of discussion this year about how testing should take place but the question of who should conduct methamphetamine contamination testing has taken a back seat.

The reality is that managing the risk of methamphetamine in New Zealand is a very difficult task. There are three main categories that we consider the management of the risk to be most important.

You have reached the final requirement of NZS8510:2017 and your property is just about at the stage that it can be issued a Certificate of Clearance by the Remediation company that you selected. All that needs to happen now, is that the decontamination process is tested.
